This is the Easiest Instant Pot Hummus! All you need are canned chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice and garlic – it’s ready in minutes!

Ingredients and substitutions
- Chickpeas – for quick preparation, use chickpeas from a can. If you are using chickpeas bought in bulk, then make sure to rinse them first.
- Tahini – tahini is the preference for this dish, but you can use a seed or nut butter if you’re in a pinch (preferably a seed butter).
- Lemon juice – freshly squeezed lemon juice is best, but bottled lemon juice will also work.
- Garlic – fresh garlic or jarred minced garlic can both be used.
- Sea salt – to taste.
- Cumin – ground coriander, caraway seeds, paprika or chili powder will work as well.
- Olive oil – you can use another neutral oil (avocado oil, grapeseed oil or sunflower oil) in place of olive oil. As a topping on the hummus, olive oil will taste the best.
